The Firefighters of Lake Jericho Fire & Rescue Department in partnership with the Kentucky Fire Commission SFRT Instructional Team was able to hone in on some of the most basic skills expected of a Firefighter. The Smoke Maze is one of most basic, yet most challenging, mobile training facilities opportunity a firefighter here in the Commonwealth has an opportunity to experience. This unit provides a great experience to anyone who must work confidently and effectively in smoke filled, dark, confined space atmospheres while wearing full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). The two floor specialized training prop has movable dividers which allow for the maze to be changed from simplistic to difficult based on the level of experience of the Firefighter.
